Co-owner of Yimin Droughtmasters.
As a fourth generation cattleman, Allen has been around cattle all his life, learning skills and knowledge from generations before him. He had also been heavily involved in poultry, both showing and judging and through this has helped improved the genetics and standards of the poultry industry. He has a passion for genetically improving our breeding herd.

Growing up around her Uncle's dairy farm, Michelle has had a passion for cattle ever since she was little. Now a Rural and Remote Registered Nurse, Michelle brings the nurturing aspect to our stud. When not working in Emergency at our local rural hospital, she is usually found in the converted dairy sewing up a storm. She combined her love of sewing and cattle, recently commencing an online business specialising in custom cattle collars and business embroidery. Check out 'Stockyard Stitches' for her latest creations.
Jasmine our eldest daughter is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University. She has been heavily involved in the Red Meat Industry for the last 8 years, working for NH Foods at their Whyalla Feedlot in Texas Qld, competing Internationally as an Australian Inter-collegiate Meat Judging Team member during their US Tour in 2023 and as a Veterinary Student working internationally in an externship program in Canada in 2022. To no surprise, Jasmine is wanting to continue her career in the Red Meat Industry and is looking at moving into Feedlot Consultancy on completion of her degree. The passion our daughter has for the meat industry shows with her enthusiasm to improve our genetics and productivity within our herd.
Our second eldest daughter Madi is a qualified Registered Nurse specialising in Paediatric and Adolescent Nursing. She has recently moved back to SEQ with her fiancé and hoping to set up their own Droughtmaster Stud in the not too distant future. Whilst her time at home on the property is limited, Madi makes up for it as our Social Media / Content Creator. Whilst we value her assistance and presence at our shows and sales, she has handed the reins over to her little sisters Chelsea and Daisy to take on this role.
Jessica, the quietest daughter in the family is currently studying Agricultural Science online at Charles Sturt University. Her hope is to follow in her big sister Jasmine's footsteps and apply for Veterinary Science in the coming years, specialising in small animals and surgery. Jessica will minimise her attendances at local shows this year due to university commitments whilst also assisting to maintain the farming operations and overseeing our farmhands whilst we are at shows and events. She will also utilise any spare time she can collaborating with her sisters in her role as Digital Marketing Assistant.
Chelsea, the older of our two youngest children, is a fifth generation cattle producer, who when not at school is found following her father around the property working with the cattle. Having commenced Yimin CD Droughtmasters with her sister Daisy in 2020, she is the driving force behind their stud, attending sales and shows networking with other studs. She has continued her love of competing in both Junior Handlers and Junior Judging and was nominated and held the position of Associate Judge - Stud Cattle at Mullumbimby Show last year. She is passionate about judging cattle and will continue to increase her knowledge and experience this year. Many fellow cattle producers marvel at her wealth of knowledge often telling us that she is an old soul and a great little businesswoman. We watch proudly as she makes a name for herself in this industry and will continue to help foster her love of cattle.
Daisy, the youngest of the Wholton/Burton sisters is also a fifth generation beef producer and co-owner of Yimin CD Droughtmasters. Along with her sister Chelsea she too enjoys participating in the Junior Judging and Junior Handlers at shows, although her passion is the Handler classes. She might be the youngest but she isn't afraid of getting out in the ring with her animals and often gets complimented on her ability to handle the animals that tower over her. She has an eye for good cattle and is always keen to claim the best quality newborn calves. Our little Dare Devil Daisy never fails to entertain and is often seen hanging out at cattle events making new friends.
